FAQs on the Mounting Systems centre clamp

Does this clamp fit all mounting rails?

Optimised for Mounting Systems.

  • The clamp is specially developed for the groove geometry of Mounting Systems profiles. For third-party rails, it should be checked in advance whether the click block (EC) engages securely.

Why is the clamp specified for a range (30-40mm)?

Due to the integrated spring/adjustment.

  • The clamp is designed so that it adapts variably to the frame height when tightened. This saves storage capacity and increases flexibility on the construction site.

Is the black colour scratch-resistant?

Conditionally.

  • The black anodised layer is very robust and weather-resistant. Care should still be taken when assembling with tools to avoid mechanical scratches in the colour layer.

How many clamps do I need per module?

Usually 4 fixing points.

  • Two centre clamps (top and bottom) are required per module transition. For a row: (number of modules - 1) x 2 centre clamps.
