Why is LiFePO4 used as the cell chemistry?

Because of the superior safety.

  • In contrast to traditional lithium-ion batteries (NMC), LiFePO4 is much more chemically stable. Even in the event of mechanical damage, these cells do not tend to ignite, making them the safest choice for residential buildings.

Does the system have integrated heating for winter operation?

System composition

  • This product is a set consisting of three separate main components, which together form an 8.18 kWh high-voltage tower system.

Component 1: Deye GB-L-PRO-BMS (High-voltage control unit & base)

  • The central control unit (BMS), which manages the entire high-voltage system. This unit forms the base of the battery tower.

Component 2 & 3: Two Deye GB-L-PRO-BATT high-voltage battery modules (4.09 kWh each)

  • Two high-voltage battery modules of 4.09 kWh each, stacked on the BMS unit.

1 x set of battery connection cables (plus & minus)

  • One pair of special high-voltage power cables for connecting the BMS unit to a suitable high-voltage hybrid inverter.

1 x communication cable (CAN/RS485)

  • A data cable for communication between BMS and inverter.

1 x connection bridge / series connection cable

  • Short, robust cables or a fixed bridge to connect the two battery modules in series.

1 x earthing cable

  • A protective conductor for earthing the BMS unit in accordance with regulations.

1 x mounting accessories (tower mounting)

  • Includes screws or interlocks to safely connect the three components as a tower.

1 x operating and installation manual
