Unrivalled performance for demanding applications
The Trojan T-105 is the first choice for commercial and industrial applications where endurance and reliability are crucial. Its main area of application is in the power supply of golf cart fleets, electric lifting and working platforms, industrial floor cleaning machines and small, self-sufficient solar energy systems. Wherever machines have to work reliably for many hours a day, this battery provides the necessary energy.
Superior deep-cycle technology
Trojan Batteries have been the benchmark for true deep-cycle performance for decades. The exclusive T2 Technology® with Alpha Plus® paste formulation maximises electrochemical efficiency and slows down the ageing process of the active mass. DuraGrid™ grid architecture provides superior corrosion resistance and improved current conduction, resulting in higher overall performance and longer battery life.
Built for longevity and efficiency
The construction of the T-105 is designed for maximum robustness and easy maintenance. The impact-resistant polypropylene housing withstands the stresses of daily use. The low-maintenance design only requires regular inspection and, if necessary, topping up with distilled water to maintain the battery's full capacity and service life for many years. This makes it an extremely economical solution for professional fleet operators.

FAQs about the Trojan T-105 deep-cycle battery
What does "deep cycle" mean?
"Deep cycle" means that the battery is designed to regularly release a large proportion (up to 80%) of its stored energy and then be fully recharged without quickly losing capacity. This is crucial for supply applications, in contrast to starter batteries.
What does "low maintenance" mean?
As a low-maintenance wet-cell battery, the fluid level (electrolyte) in the cells must be checked regularly and topped up with distilled water only if necessary. Correct maintenance is crucial for achieving the maximum service life. Automatic water topping-up systems are available as an option for larger systems.
What do the different capacity specifications (C5, C20, C100) mean?
The capacity of a battery depends on how quickly it is discharged. The C-rate indicates the discharge current in relation to the capacity. C100 (discharge over 100 hours) results in the highest capacity rating and is typical for solar applications. C20 (20 hours) is the common standard comparison value. C5 (5 hours) is relevant for applications with high continuous load.
How are several batteries connected to form a system?
For the common 36V or 48V systems in golf carts or work platforms, several of these 6V batteries are connected in series (e.g. six batteries for 36V). It is essential that only batteries of the same type, age and condition are connected together to ensure an even load.
How should this lead-acid battery be disposed of?
Lead-acid batteries contain environmentally harmful substances and must not be disposed of with household waste. You can return your old battery to any retailer that sells new batteries or to municipal recycling centres free of charge to ensure that it is recycled properly.
