Isn't 6mm² oversized for just 3 metres in length?

Technically yes, but it offers reserves. While 4mm² is generally sufficient for this length, 6mm² offers increased mechanical robustness and is already ideally suited for future module generations with currents above 15A.

Will the plugs fit my inverter from Hoymiles or Deye?

Yes. The installed connectors conform to the MC4 standard, which is used worldwide in almost all solar modules and microinverters. They fit perfectly both mechanically and electrically.

Can I also leave these cables outside?
