  • Keep the freshness seal intact: Do not remove the tab until immediately before inserting. Once the seal has been removed, the battery will slowly discharge itself, even if you press the label back on.
  • Optimum storage: Store your battery supplies at room temperature (ideally 10°C to 25°C) in a dry place. The refrigerator is harmful as condensation can form under the sticker.

How long will a size 13 battery last in my hearing aid?

This depends heavily on individual use. As the size 13 offers almost three times as much capacity as a small size 10 battery, it generally lasts significantly longer. On average, you can expect a service life of 6 to 14 days count on. Frequent Bluetooth streaming (e.g. making phone calls or listening to music via the hearing aid) shortens this time accordingly.

Does this battery fit Phonak, Signia or Widex devices?

Yes, unrestricted. The sizes of hearing aid batteries are strictly standardised internationally. Regardless of which manufacturer your hearing system comes from (Audio Service, Phonak, Signia/Siemens, Starkey, Oticon etc.) - if your device requires a 13 battery or a orange markings, this Rayovac battery fits 100%.

Why does my hearing aid report "battery empty" shortly after insertion?

The most common reason is that the activation time is too short. If you peel off the orange sticker, insert the battery immediately and close the compartment, not enough oxygen could get into the cell. The hearing aid then measures an undervoltage and issues a warning. Simply remove the battery again, wait 2 minutes in the fresh air and try again.
