The RedTop is primarily a starter battery. How should this lead-acid battery be disposed of?

Lead-acid batteries contain environmentally harmful substances and must not be disposed of with household waste. You can return your old battery to any retailer that sells new batteries, or to municipal recycling centres free of charge to ensure proper recycling.
