Eisemann HSE 7 LED portable floodlight - Explosion-proof industrial & firefighting light

The Eisemann HSE 7 LED (manufactured by Metallwarenfabrik Gemmingen) is a legendary high-performance hand-held spotlight, specially designed for use in the most extreme conditions. As fully explosion-proof (ATEX) equipment, it is the standard equipment for many fire brigades, rescue services and in the chemical industry.

Equipped with the latest 3-watt high-performance LED technology, this spotlight literally turns night into day. In contrast to conventional halogen spotlights, the HSE 7 LED impresses with an extremely long lamp life (over 50,000 hours) and an extremely robust, maintenance-free lead fleece battery that delivers constant power even during hours of use.

Assembly & safety instructions

• Charge only in a safe area: Charging the spotlight in the designated charging station (e.g. LS HSE 7 LED) must never take place in explosive atmospheres.
• Use front discs: For special uses in traffic or fog, orange (often included), red or green front discs can be placed on the lamp head.
• Avoid deep discharge: Although the electronics provide protection, the lead fleece battery should always be returned to the charging station immediately after each longer use. The system supports gentle continuous charging (maintenance charge).
• Inspection: ATEX equipment must undergo regular visual and functional inspections by qualified persons for industrial use. Damaged housings or cracked lenses immediately revoke explosion protection!

FAQs about the Eisemann HSE 7 LED

Is the charging station included as standard?

Mostly no. The hand-held spotlight (HSE 7 LED) and the charging station (LS HSE 7 LED) are often sold separately by dealers or as part of special bundles. Pay close attention to the item description when purchasing. The charging station can often be used with both 12V/24V (vehicle) and 230V mains power.

What’s the difference between the HSE 7 LED and the HS 7 LED?

The "E" stands for explosion protection (ATEX). The HS 7 LED looks almost identical and offers the same excellent lighting performance and ergonomics, but has no ATEX certification. It is cheaper and intended for normal industrial and security services where there is no explosive atmosphere.

Can I replace the battery myself if it is faulty after years?

According to the manufacturer and strict ATEX guidelines, repairs and battery replacement on explosion-protected lights may generally only be carried out by the manufacturer or authorised, certified specialist workshops, so as not to jeopardise the guarantee of explosion protection (tightness and intrinsic safety).
