With a maximum DC input power of 39,000 W, three independent MPPTs and an MPPT efficiency of 99.9 %, the SUN-30K achieves outstanding performance. The intelligent MPPT control ensures high yields even with shading or unevenly aligned module fields.
Flexibility and scalability
Whether grid-connected, hybrid or completely off-grid - the inverter offers flexible application options. The parallel connection of up to 10 devices, AC coupling and two separate battery inputs enable scalable energy storage systems with high-voltage lithium-ion batteries (160-800 V). The energy can be utilised or stored in a targeted manner via six adjustable charging/discharging windows.

Do I need external NA protection?
No. The 30 kW BM3 series has an integrated anti-islanding protection circuit that meets the requirements of the applicable standards such as VDE-AR-N 4105. Separate NA protection is not required.
Which high-voltage storage systems are approved?
According to the official compatibility list (version DY-HV 160-800-017), BYD HVS/HVM, Pylontech Force H (H1/H2), Dyness Tower and the Deye GB-L series, among others, are fully compatible. The connection is made via CAN or RS485, depending on the system.
How much kWp can I connect without major losses?
Technically, up to 65 kW DC input power is permitted; according to the manufacturer, the maximum PV access power is 100 kW. A DC/AC ratio of 1.2 to 1.3 - i.e. around 60 to 65 kWp - is considered practical. Even on midsummer days, experience has shown that the yield loss due to clipping is less than two per cent on an annual average.
How many strings and MPPTs are available?
The inverter offers four independent MPP trackers (MPPT), each with two DC inputs. This means that a total of eight string connections are available, particularly suitable for complex roof orientations with different module inclinations and directions.
Can I connect several 30 kW devices?
Yes, up to ten inverters can be connected in parallel in on-grid or off-grid operation. One device assumes the master function, reads the CT sensors and controls the other units in the network.
