With a maximum DC input power of 39,000 W, three independent MPPTs and an MPPT efficiency of 99.9 %, the SUN-30K delivers outstanding performance. The intelligent MPPT control ensures high yields even in the event of shading or unevenly aligned module arrays.
Flexibility and scalability
Whether grid-connected, hybrid or fully off-grid – the inverter offers flexible application options. The parallel connection of up to 10 devices, AC coupling and two separate battery inputs enable scalable energy storage systems with high-voltage lithium-ion batteries (160–800 V). Energy can be used or stored selectively via six adjustable charge/discharge windows.

Do I need an external NA protection?
No. The 30 kW-BM3 series features an integrated anti-islanding protection circuit that meets the requirements of current standards such as VDE-AR-N 4105. A separate NA protection is not required.
Which high-voltage storage batteries are approved?
According to the official compatibility list (version DY-HV 160-800-017), BYD HVS/HVM, Pylontech Force H (H1/H2), Dyness Tower as well as the Deye GB-L series are fully compatible. Connection is via CAN or RS485, depending on the system.
How much kWp can I connect without significant losses?
Technically, up to 48 kW DC input power is permitted. The maximum load should always match the starting voltage of the solar modules. This is the decisive factor.
How many strings and MPPTs are available?
The inverter offers four independent MPPTs, each with two DC inputs. This means a total of eight string connections are available, particularly suitable for complex roof layouts with different module inclinations and orientations.
Can I couple several 30 kW devices?
Yes. Up to ten inverters can be operated in parallel in on-grid or off-grid mode. One device takes on the master function, reads out the CT sensors and controls the other units in the network.
