The Deye GB-W-11.7 is a powerful high-voltage (HV) battery module that serves as a central component for scalable energy storage systems. With a gross capacity of 11.7 kWh per unit, it is specially optimised for use with Deye high-voltage hybrid inverters (such as the SG01HP3 series).

Thanks to its modular design, the GB-W system allows flexible adaptation of storage capacity to individual energy requirements. The modules are connected in series to increase the system voltage, which increases the overall system efficiency and minimises conversion losses compared to low-voltage systems.

What is the maximum number of modules that can be combined?

Depending on system configuration.

  • Several modules can usually be stacked in a tower or connected in parallel. The exact maximum number depends on the capacity of the BMS control unit and the specifications of the inverter used.

Is the battery compatible with inverters from other brands?

Primarily optimised for Deye.

  • The best performance and simplest setup is achieved in combination with Deye hybrid inverters. For use with third-party systems, the compatibility of the communication protocol (BMS) must be checked in advance.

Do I need special tools for expansion?

Normally no.

  • The modules are designed for easy coupling. However, manufacturer-specific connection cables and terminating resistors should be used, which are often included with the controller or modules.

What warranty does Deye offer for the modules?

Usually 10 years.

  • Deye usually grants a performance warranty of 10 years or a certain number of cycles (whichever comes first) on its LiFePO4 storage systems.
