The Deye GB-S12K-EU hybrid storage system with 8 kWh achieves a maximum efficiency of 97.6 per cent and an MPPT efficiency of 99.9 per cent. The maximum PV input power is 10,400 watts, with a maximum DC input voltage of 1,000 volts. The wide MPPT voltage range of 150 to 850 volts ensures that the optimum energy yield is always achieved, even in changing light conditions.

Flexibility and scalability

The system offers high scalability thanks to the possibility of parallel operation of up to ten devices. Thanks to AC coupling, it can be easily integrated into existing solar systems, meaning that older systems can also be modernised. The high compatibility with lithium-ion batteries in the voltage range from 160 to 700 volts allows flexible adaptation to different storage requirements.

Reliability and protection

The Deye GB-S12K-EU system has comprehensive protective functions, including overcurrent, overvoltage, short-circuit and thermal protection as well as insulation monitoring of the DC connections. With a protection rating of IP65, it is protected against dust and water and is suitable for demanding environments. The system works reliably in a temperature range of minus 40 to plus 60 degrees Celsius. At temperatures above 45 degrees Celsius, the power is automatically adjusted to protect the system components.

Scope of delivery Deye GB-S12K-EU ALL-IN-ONE Hybrid storage system (8.18 kWh):

 

System composition

  • This product is a set and consists of the inverter unit and the separate battery modules.

1 x Deye GB-S12K-EU Inverter unit

  • The main unit as a floor-standing cabinet unit. It contains the 3-phase 12 kW hybrid inverter and the empty slots for the battery modules.

2 x Deye GB-L-BATT high-voltage battery modules (4.09 kWh each)

  • Two separate battery modules that are inserted into the inverter unit on site and connected to reach the total capacity of 8.18 kWh.

1 x smart meter / current sensor

  • A smart meter with current transformers for measuring household consumption.

1 x WLAN data logger

  • A module for integrating the system into the home WLAN for monitoring and control.

1 x mounting accessories

  • Usually includes screws, dowels (for the tilt protection) and internal mounting material for the battery modules.

1 x operating and installation instructions

  • A printed manual describing the assembly and commissioning of the complete system.

Important note on the connection cables

The following are required for the installation AC connection cable (to the house grid) and DC solar cable (from the PV modules) are generally not included.
