The Deye GB-S12K-EU achieves a maximum efficiency of 97.6 per cent and impresses with an MPPT efficiency of 99.9 per cent. It has a PV input power of up to 15,600 watts and a maximum DC input voltage of 1,000 volts. The wide MPPT voltage range of 150 to 850 volts enables a high energy yield even with fluctuating solar irradiation.
Flexibility and scalability
The system can be flexibly adapted to individual requirements. Up to ten devices can be operated in parallel, meaning that larger energy storage solutions are also possible. Thanks to AC coupling, the system can be easily integrated into existing photovoltaic systems. Operation is possible both grid-connected and off-grid, ensuring a comprehensive emergency power supply. The support of lithium-ion batteries in the voltage range from 160 to 700 volts provides additional flexibility.
Reliability and protection
The Deye GB-S12K-EU system offers extensive protective functions, including protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuits and thermal loads. In addition, monitoring of the DC insulation impedance ensures a high level of operational safety. With protection class IP65, the system is optimally protected against dust and water. It works reliably in a temperature range from minus 40 to plus 60 degrees Celsius. From 45 degrees Celsius, the power is automatically adjusted to ensure the service life of the components.

System composition
- This product is a set and consists of the inverter unit and the separate battery modules.
1 x Deye GB-S12K-EU Inverter unit
- The main unit as a floor-standing cabinet unit. It contains the 3-phase 12 kW hybrid inverter and the empty racks for the battery modules.
4 x Deye GB-L-BATT high-voltage battery modules (4.09 kWh each)
- Four separate battery modules that are inserted into the inverter unit on site and connected to achieve the total capacity of 16.36 kWh.
1 x smart meter / current sensor
- A smart meter (often from Chint) with current transformers for measuring household consumption.
1 x WLAN data logger
- A module for integrating the system into the home WLAN for monitoring and control.
1 x mounting accessories
