Can I continue to use my original Bosch charger?

Yes, this replacement battery is fully compatible with the original Bosch charger for the Active/Performance Line system. Please note that the charging time may be slightly longer than for a battery with a lower capacity due to the higher capacity.

How far can I get with this 15Ah battery?

The range depends on many factors, such as the selected support level, the terrain, the rider's weight and the tyre pressure. Compared to the original PowerPack 400 (approx. 11Ah), however, you will achieve a significantly longer range of approx. 35% more with this 15Ah battery.

Is this battery also compatible with the Bosch Classic Line?

No, this battery is designed exclusively for the Bosch Active Line, Performance Line and Performance Line CX systems from model year 2014. It is mechanically and electronically not compatible with the older Classic Line (mostly model years up to 2013).

What is the best way to store the battery in winter?

Store the battery in a cool (10-15 °C), dry place and avoid frost. The ideal charge level for longer storage is around 30% to 60%. We recommend checking the charge level every 2-3 months and recharging the battery briefly if necessary to avoid deep discharge.
