FAQs about the Palfinger 3000mAh battery

Will the battery fit in my charger despite 3000 mAh?

Yes.

The external dimensions are standardised. However, as the "tank" is very large (3.0 Ah), your charger (type 434/435) will accordingly need longer to fully charge the battery (approx. double charging time compared to a 1.5 Ah battery). Plan this in or charge overnight.

Is this battery heavier?

Yes, minimal.

Due to the higher density of the high-performance cells used, the 3000 mAh battery is slightly heavier than a standard 1500 mAh battery. However, the difference is hardly noticeable in everyday work and rather provides a high-quality feel.

My old battery was red (NiCd). Can I use this black one (NiMH)?

Yes.

Palfinger/Scanreco has changed colours and technologies over the years. Whether your old battery was red or black is irrelevant. This modern NiMH battery is backwards compatible and reliably replaces the old technology.
