Yes, this replacement battery is fully compatible with the original Bosch charger for the Classic Line system. You can simply continue to use your existing charging station.

How far can I get with this 17Ah battery?

The range depends on many factors, such as the selected support level, the terrain, the rider's weight and the tyre pressure. Compared to the original PowerPack 400 (approx. 11Ah), however, you will achieve a significantly higher range of up to 50% more with this 17Ah battery.

Is this battery also compatible with the Bosch Active/Performance Line systems?

No, this battery is exclusively designed for the Bosch Classic Line (mostly model years up to 2013) with rack mounting. It is mechanically and electronically not compatible with the newer Active Line, Performance Line or Performance Line CX systems.

What is the best way to store the battery in winter?

Store the battery in a cool (10-15°C), dry place and avoid frost. The ideal state of charge for longer storage is about 30% to 60%. It is advisable to check the state of charge every 2-3 months and, if necessary, recharge the battery briefly to prevent deep discharge.
