How far can I get with this 17Ah battery?

The range depends on many factors such as the selected support level, terrain, rider weight and tyre pressure. Compared to the original PowerPack 400 (approx. 11Ah), you will achieve a significantly higher range of up to 50% more with this 17Ah battery.

Is this battery also compatible with the newer Bosch Active/Performance Line systems?

No, this battery is designed exclusively for the Bosch Classic Line (mostly model years up to 2013). It is mechanically and electronically not compatible with the newer Active Line, Performance Line or Performance Line CX systems (from model year 2014).

What is the best way to store the battery in winter?

Store the battery in a cool (10-15 °C), dry place and avoid frost. The ideal charge level for longer storage is around 30% to 60%. It is advisable to check the charge level every 2-3 months and, if necessary, recharge the battery briefly to avoid deep discharge.
