The Yuasa SWL1800 is a VRLA high-performance battery with 12 volts, 57.6 Ah (C20) and 1974 W 10-minute power rating per block. It combines high short-term performance with a long service life and optional flame-retardant housing. Ideal for UPS systems, emergency and safety power supplies, data centres, telecommunications, and industrial control systems.

With its very low impedance and high short-term current capabilities, the SWL1800 is ideal for uninterruptible power supply systems with high power density, safety power supplies, communication nodes, industrial buffering, and critical infrastructures, as it reliably delivers peak performance and stable voltage.

Efficiency meets long service life

For standby operation, a float charge voltage of 13.65 V ±1 percent per block (2.275 V per cell) at 20°C is recommended, supplemented by temperature compensation of minus 3 mV per cell and degree Celsius. No current limitation is necessary in this charging mode.

 

For high-rate charging, 14.50 V ±3 percent per block (2.42 V per cell) is recommended, with a compensation of minus 4 mV per cell and degree Celsius. A current limitation of 13.75 A is recommended here.

Technology for flexible applications

The wide temperature range allows versatile use: Discharge from -20°C to +60°C, charge from -15°C to +50°C and storage from -20°C to +50°C. The robust housing is made of ABS to UL94 HB as standard; an FR version to UL94 V0 is also available. Each cell is equipped with a low pressure valve for safe pressure regulation. VRLA batteries must not be operated in gas-tight housings, as hydrogen may be generated.
