This NiMH battery is the reliable power source for the tried and tested radio remote controls from HIAB and Olsbergs. It is specially designed for the older, but widely used control systems HiDrive 4000 and CombiDrive 5000 designed.

Often also known under the manufacturer's name Olsbergs, this battery replaces the original parts with the numbers 2055112, 9836713 or the type DA123. With 7.2 Volt and a capacity of mostly 1,500 mAh to 2,000 mAh (depending on the version), it brings your loader crane control back to full power – ideal as a replacement for ageing original batteries.

FAQs about the HIAB / Olsbergs battery

My battery only says "Olsbergs". Will this HIAB battery fit?

Yes. HIAB uses the electronics of the Swedish hydraulics specialist Olsbergs for these systems. The batteries are technically identical, whether the HIAB logo or the Olsbergs brand name is on them. What matters is the design and the voltage of 7.2V.

Does the battery also fit the newer HIAB XS Drive?

No, mostly not. The XS Drive (often with 7.4V Li-Ion or other NiMH design) usually has a different battery compartment. The HiDrive 4000 batteries are rather flat and wide. Please compare the part number: If you are looking for 2055112, this is the right one.

My original battery had less capacity. Is that a problem?

No, that's an advantage. Old original batteries often only had 1,200 mAh. A new 2,000 mAh battery, at the same size, has more “endurance”. It lasts longer before you need to change it. The charger just takes a bit longer to fully charge it.
