Mascot Industrial charger 9541-12 12V 50A (2x25A)
Description
Product information
The Mascot 9541-12 is an extremely powerful high-frequency charger for professional and industrial applications. With an enormous charging current of up to 50 amps (often split into 2 channels of 25A each) and a robust metal housing, this device is designed for charging large battery banks or for parallel use. It dispenses with delicate design frills and focuses entirely on performance, reliability and durability under tough operating conditions.
Highlights at a glance
- Enormous charging power: Delivers up to 50A total current (or 2x 25A), ideal for battery capacities from 100 Ah to over 500 Ah.
- Dual-Output (X2): The device often has two separate outputs, allowing two 12V batteries to be charged independently of each other at the same time.
- Intelligent 3-stage charging: Processor-controlled charging curve (IUU) with timer ensures rapid main charging and safe maintenance charging.
- Temperature compensation: An external temperature sensor automatically adjusts the charging voltage to the ambient temperature in order to protect the battery in hot weather and to fully charge it in the cold.
- Industry standard: Robust metal chassis with active cooling (fan) and IP20 rating for workshop or switch cabinet use.
- Safe operation: Protected against reverse polarity, short circuit and overheating.
Powerful technology for large capacities
The Mascot 9541 operates with efficient switched-mode power supply technology. The charging process takes place in three phases:
- Constant current (Boost): Charging with maximum current (e.g. 2x 25A) to quickly bring the battery up to approx. 80% capacity.
- Constant voltage (Timer): The voltage is kept at 14.7V while the current drops. A timer ensures that this phase lasts long enough to fully convert the lead crystals.
- Trickle charge (Float): Lowering the voltage to 13.7V. The battery can remain permanently connected (UPS operation, emergency generators).
Ideal for workshop, marine and industry
Unlike the compact desktop devices of the "Blueline" series, the 9541 is a real "workhorse". It finds its place in professional battery charging stations, on board ships, in motorhomes with large supply batteries or in industrial cleaning machines and forklift trucks.

FAQs about the Mascot 9541-12 charger
What does "X2" or "2 outputs" mean?
The 9541 model is often designed as a "dual charger." That means it has two independent charging outputs. You can either charge two 12V batteries at the same time (each with a maximum of 25A) or bridge the outputs (parallel operation) to charge a single large battery with the full 50A.
Is the device waterproof?
No, the 9541 has the IP20 rating. It is designed for dry indoor use, control cabinets or installation in vehicles/boats (in a protected position). It is not protected against water like the encapsulated IP67 models.
H3: Do I need the temperature sensor?
When charging currents of this magnitude are involved, it is highly recommended to use the temperature sensor. It is attached to the battery and reports the battery temperature to the charger so that the charging voltage can be finely adjusted. This prevents the battery from "boiling" at high ambient temperatures.
What battery size is it suitable for?
As a rule of thumb: Charging current approx. 10% to 25% of the battery capacity. With a charging current of 50A, the 9541 is ideal for battery banks of approx. 200 Ah to 500 Ah (or with 2x25A for two banks of 100-250 Ah).
