The SOLAR BLOCK (SB) series (this model) uses a tubular plate construction. The SOLAR (S) series (e.g. S12/85 A) uses grid plates and is also very cycle-resistant (approx. 800 cycles), but the SB series offers even higher durability in high-performance cyclic operation.
