What is the main advantage of Dryfit® gel technology in solar operation?

Avoiding acid stratification is crucial in cyclic solar operation. In gel batteries, the electrolyte is bound, which prevents stratification and makes the battery more resistant to deep discharges. This leads to a significantly longer service life than with AGM or wet batteries in this application.

What do the capacity specifications C10 and C100 mean?

The capacity of a battery depends on how quickly it is discharged. The C-rate indicates the discharge current. C100 (discharge over 100 hours) is the standard for solar applications, as slow discharges over several days are common here. C10 (discharge over 10 hours) is relevant for faster discharging.
