The ACTIK is brighter (e.g. 450 lumens) and offers a mixed beam (wide and focused), making it more suitable for faster, more dynamic activities (e.g. running) where better long-range vision is required.

Is the CORE battery included?

No, this standard "TIKKA" model comes with three AAA batteries. The PETZL CORE battery is available separately as an accessory and enables rechargeable operation of the lamp.

What is the red light for?

The red light helps preserve night vision. It dazzles others in a group much less and is ideal for use at camp, in mountain huts or for nighttime tasks where night vision must be preserved.

What does the IPX4 rating mean?

IPX4 means the headlamp is protected against splash water from all directions. It can be used in the rain or damp environments without problem, but is not suitable for immersion in water (diving).
