This battery is simply charged via the integrated micro-USB port and offers an economical and sustainable energy solution for frequent use. If the battery is empty and there is no charging option, you can alternatively operate the lamp with three standard AAA batteries.

Intuitive operation and practical design

The TIKKA CORE is controlled via a single, ergonomic switch. A LOCK function prevents the lamp from being unintentionally switched on during transport. The headband is reflective to increase visibility in the dark and can easily be removed for cleaning.

What is the difference between the TIKKA and the TIKKA CORE?

The main difference lies in the scope of delivery. The "TIKKA CORE" model (this model) comes supplied with the rechargeable PETZL CORE battery. The standard "TIKKA" model is supplied with three AAA batteries, but can be upgraded with the CORE battery.

Can I still use normal batteries?

Yes. Thanks to the HYBRID CONCEPT, you can remove the supplied CORE battery and operate the lamp instead with three standard AAA/LR03 batteries. This provides maximum flexibility if there is no charging option available.

What is the red light used for?

The red light serves to maintain the eye's dark adaptation. It dazzles other people in a group less and is ideal for use in campsites, in huts or for night work where night vision must be preserved.

What does protection class IPX4 mean?

IPX4 means that the headlamp is protected against splashing water from all directions. It can be used without problems in rain or damp environments, but is not suitable for immersion in water (diving).
