The TIKKA is operated by a single, ergonomic switch. A LOCK function prevents accidental switching on of the lamp during transport in a rucksack or toolbox. The headband is reflective to increase visibility in the dark, and can be easily removed and washed for cleaning.

The ACTIK is brighter at 450 lumens and offers a mixed beam (wide and focused), making it suitable for faster, more dynamic activities (e.g. running) where long-distance vision is required.

Is the CORE battery included?

No, this standard "TIKKA" model comes with three AAA batteries. The PETZL CORE battery is available as a separate accessory and enables rechargeable operation of the lamp.

What is the red light used for?

The red light is intended to maintain night vision. It dazzles others in a group less and is ideal for use in campsites, in huts or for night-time work where night vision must be preserved.

What does the IPX4 protection class mean?
