The Flexible HYBRID CONCEPT

At the heart of the ACTIK CORE is PETZL's innovative HYBRID CONCEPT. This headlamp comes supplied with the PETZL CORE lithium-ion battery. This battery is charged directly in the lamp via the integrated USB-C port and provides an economical and sustainable energy solution for frequent use. If the battery is empty and no charging facility is available, you can alternatively operate the lamp with three standard AAA batteries.

Intuitive Operation and Safety

The ACTIK CORE is operated via a single ergonomic switch that is easy to use even when wearing gloves. A LOCK function (lock function) prevents the lamp from being switched on unintentionally during transport in a rucksack or toolbox. The reflective headband ensures you are well seen by other road users or colleagues in the dark.

What is the difference between the ACTIK and ACTIK CORE?

The main difference is in the contents supplied. The "ACTIK CORE" model (this model) is already supplied with the rechargeable PETZL CORE battery. The standard "ACTIK" model comes with three AAA batteries, but can be upgraded with the CORE battery.

Can I still use normal batteries?

Yes. Thanks to the HYBRID CONCEPT, you can remove the supplied CORE battery and use the lamp instead with three standard AAA/LR03 batteries. This provides maximum flexibility when no charging facility is available.

What is the red light used for?

The red light is for preserving the eye's night vision. It is less dazzling for other people in a group and is ideal for use in camps, huts or night work when night vision needs to be preserved.

What does protection class IPX4 mean?

IPX4 means the headlamp is protected against splashing water from all directions. It can be used in the rain or in damp environments without issue, but is not suitable for immersion in water (diving).
