The Exide EB 6240 from the Classic Energy Bloc series is a long-lasting and low-maintenance lead-acid battery with liquid electrolyte. It is characterised by high energy density, special high-current capability and a service life of up to 15 years. Its robustness makes it the ideal energy storage solution for UPS systems, telecommunications, railway technology, safety lighting as well as energy and emergency power systems.

Positive and negative grid plates in combination with diluted sulphuric acid (electrolyte 1.24 kg/l) ensure high robustness and resistance. The translucent housing also enables easy visual monitoring.
