With its flat, stackable design, the DEYE AI-W5.1 can be easily expanded without any cabling or screwing. Automatic networking via IP addresses makes every installation and expansion particularly fast and low-maintenance. Up to 6 clusters with 6 modules each are possible, giving a total capacity of up to 184 kWh.

Safe, environmentally friendly and quiet

The module uses cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, which are known for high safety, long service life and thermal stability. The entire system is non-toxic, pollutant-free and environmentally friendly. Natural convection ensures fan-free and therefore quiet operation – with no moving parts at all.

Powerful in any weather

Thanks to IP65 protection class and an operating temperature range of -20 °C to +55 °C, the module is ideal for use indoors and outdoors, whether in the basement, technical room or even in protected outdoor installations. The high discharge power (up to 360 A) makes the module ideal for dynamic loads or rapid discharge in the event of high energy demand.

What are the voltage, capacity and current of the module?

The AI-W5.1 operates at 51.2 V nominal voltage, offers a gross capacity of 5.12 kWh (4.6 kWh of which usable) and has a nominal capacity of 100 Ah. The permissible continuous current is 50 A, up to 150 A for 10 seconds is possible for short periods.

How many modules can be stacked?

Up to six modules are permitted per tower, which corresponds to around 30.7 kWh per stack. A total of six towers can be operated in parallel, giving a total capacity of around 184 kWh.

Can I retrofit additional modules later?

Yes, the modules are hot-swappable. Before retrofitting, however, the new module should be brought to the same state of charge (SoC) as the existing ones. Otherwise, synchronisation problems may occur.

Which inverters is the AI-W5.1 compatible with?

The module is officially approved for Deye hybrid inverters of the HP and BM series.

Does the module have to be fully charged before first use?

Yes, according to the manufacturer the module should be charged to 100 % before initial commissioning to ensure correct SoC detection.
