No. The YBX1027 is a conventional wet battery. Vehicles with start-stop systems require an EFB or AGM battery, as these withstand frequent engine starts and recuperation. Installing this battery in a start-stop vehicle would result in rapid failure.

Do I need to charge the battery on receipt?

The battery is usually supplied "filled and charged". It is ready to start immediately. However, if the car is only used infrequently or the battery has been stored for a long time prior to installation, a short full charge with a car charger is recommended to ensure maximum lifespan.

Will the battery fit in my car?

The dimensions 242x175x175 mm correspond to a very widespread standard size (often referred to as LB2 or L2 Low).
