What does pole arrangement 3 mean?

In large lorry batteries, the terminals are often on the narrow side of the battery (not on the long side as with cars). Pole arrangement 3 generally means that the positive terminal is on the left when you look at the narrow side with the terminals. Please check the cable length in your vehicle.

Is this battery suitable for lorries with a sleeper cab?

Only to a limited extent. The YBX1000 series is designed for "Basic Power". If you have a modern long-distance lorry in which you regularly stay overnight and use a TV, refrigerator or stationary air conditioning (high cycle load), Yuasa rather recommends the YBX3000 or YBX5000 series (EFB), as these are more cycle-resistant.

Will this battery fit my tractor?

The size (approx. 51 cm long) is a standard size for many medium to heavy tractors and combine harvesters. Please measure your battery compartment. Note the high weight of almost 40 kg when installing!

Is the battery maintenance-free?

The YBX1612 is classed as "maintenance-free according to EN" with normal use (very low water consumption). However, it often has screw plugs under a cover. It is recommended to check the acid level during regular vehicle inspections (e.g. every 6 months), especially with older vehicles which have higher charging voltage.
