What is the difference to the YBX3068?

The difference lies in the pole arrangement.

• YBX3030: Positive terminal Right (Layout 0 / often referred to as "R").
• YBX3068: Positive terminal Left (Layout 1 / often referred to as "L"). Both have the same dimensions (D26 case) and performance data. Please check carefully on which side the red positive cable is located in your vehicle before purchasing.

Does this battery have a base strip?

No. The YBX3030 has the base strip version "N" (None). As is typical for most Asian batteries, it does not have a foot for clamping at the bottom. It is designed for vehicles where the battery is held from above by a clamp or frame.

Is the battery suitable for start-stop?

No. The YBX3030 is a maintenance-free flooded battery. It is not designed for the high demands of start-stop systems. For Asian vehicles with start-stop you need an EFB battery (e.g. Yuasa YBX7030 or YBX7068).

Will this battery fit my Toyota Land Cruiser or Mitsubishi Pajero?

That is very likely. Many of these vehicles come with size D26 (26 cm length, 22.5 cm height) from the factory. However, please do check the pole arrangement (right vs. left), as depending on model year and engine there can be differences.
