What is the difference to the YBX3110?

The main difference is in the height. The YBX3115 is 190 mm high (L4 housing), while the YBX3110 is only 175 mm high (LB4 housing). Both are the same length (315 mm). If there is enough space above or the retaining bracket is designed for 190 mm, the YBX3115 will fit. For flatter installation spaces (e.g. many Ford models), the YBX3110 is required.

Is the battery suitable for start-stop?

No. The YBX3115 is a conventional starter battery. It is not designed for the high cyclic stresses of start-stop systems. For such vehicles, you need an AGM or EFB battery of the appropriate size (L4).

Will this battery fit my car?

Please measure your old battery. If it is approximately 31.5 cm long, 17.5 cm wide and 19 cm high and the positive terminal is on the right, the YBX3115 is the appropriate model. This is the standard size for many larger vehicles.

How does the "Magic Eye" work?

The "Magic Eye" on the lid shows the status of the battery. Green means "All OK". Black indicates "Charging required". If the inspection window is clear or white, this often indicates a low acid level or a defect.
