The Yuasa YBX3665 is a robust 12V starter battery from the YBX3000 SHD series (Super Heavy Duty), designed for heavy-duty use in commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery and construction vehicles. With a capacity of 112 Ah and a cold-start current of 870 A (EN), it offers an excellent balance of endurance and starting power. Thanks to special hybrid technology and glass fibre separators, it has increased vibration resistance (V2) and is therefore ideally suited for vehicles that are exposed to strong vibrations.

Which vehicles is this battery suitable for?

This battery is ideal for commercial vehicles that require a lot of power in a small space. This often includes construction machinery (excavators, wheel loaders), agricultural vehicles (tractors, combine harvesters) or light to medium lorries (distribution transport). Please check the dimensions (length approx. 345 mm).

What does V2 vibration resistance mean?

The V2 standard states that the battery has withstood special vibration tests. This is crucial for vehicles without soft suspension (such as tractors) or work machines, as normal batteries would break internally due to vibration. The YBX3665 is reinforced for this.

Can I install this battery horizontally?

No. The YBX3665 is a wet battery with liquid electrolyte and degassing openings. It must be installed upright to prevent acid from leaking.

How is the battery attached?

As the battery does not have a base ledge (type N), it is usually fixed by a frame or bracket that holds the battery from above in the box. This is standard in most commercial vehicles.
