The Yuasa YBX7335 is a highly specialised EFB battery (Enhanced Flooded Battery) from the YBX7000 series for large Asian vehicles with start-stop technology. With a capacity of 80 Ah and a cold-start current of 780 A (EN), it meets the powerful JIS standard "T-110". It uses the large D31 housing (approx. 306 mm length) and is designed for vehicles that need the positive terminal on the left side (terminal layout 1). It offers maximum reserve for SUVs, pickups and vans with high energy demand.

FAQs about the Yuasa YBX7335

What does "T-110" mean?

T-110 is the JIS code for the largest common start-stop battery in Asian passenger cars (housing D31). If your old battery is marked T-110 (or T-105), you absolutely need such an EFB battery. A normal D31 battery (such as the YBX5335) would fail very quickly in start-stop operation.

What is the difference to the S-95 (YBX7030)?

The size and performance. The S-95 (D26 case) is approx. 26 cm long. The T-110 (D31 case, YBX7335) is approx. 31 cm long and has more capacity. They are not mechanically interchangeable if the battery compartment specifies the size.

Can I use this battery instead of a YBX5335?

Yes, this is an excellent upgrade. The YBX5335 is the standard wet cell battery (without start-stop). The YBX7335 (EFB) fits mechanically (if terminal layout left is correct) and offers much higher service life and cold start performance, even if the vehicle does not have start-stop.

Do I have to "teach" the battery?

Yes. Vehicles that require a T-110 battery have a complex battery management system (BMS). After replacement, the battery sensor should be reset so that the vehicle detects the full power of the new battery.
