The YBX1038 (DIN), however, has the thick standard posts (as with normal European car batteries). Please check before purchasing whether your vehicle has thick or thin battery clamps.

Is the battery suitable for start-stop vehicles?

No. The YBX1038 is a classic starter battery. Vehicles with a start-stop system require EFB or AGM batteries. Use of this battery in a start-stop system would lead to rapid failure.

Does the battery have a base bar for fixing?

No, the YBX1038 usually has no base bar (Type N / B0). It is usually held by a clamp that runs over the battery or a frame at the top, as is common in Asian vehicles. If your car requires a base mounting (clamp at the bottom), this battery may not be tight enough.
