This powerful NiMH battery is the suitable replacement for the "long" version of the Hetronic batteries, which are often used in the larger vendor's tray transmitters (Nova-L, Nova-XL). In your enquiry you mentioned "HTC" - this is certainly the manufacturer Hetronic meant.

This battery replaces the original number 68303000 (as well as the older 68301000). In contrast to the "short" version (Mini), this battery utilises the full space in the battery compartment and offers with 2,000 mAh (2.0 Ah) enormous capacity for long work shifts in crane, concrete pump or forestry operations.

What is the difference between "Short" and "Long"?

This is the most important difference with Hetronic batteries:

Short (Mini): Approx. 6 cm long, 750 mAh (for Mini/Nova-S).
Long (this battery): Approx. 15 cm long, 2000 mAh (for Nova-L/XL). Please check your old battery. This item here is the long bar.

Can I use this battery instead of the old NiCd battery (68301000)?

Yes. Hetronic and third-party manufacturers have almost completely switched to NiMH. The voltage (9.6V) is identical. Your transmitter benefits from almost double the runtime (2.0 Ah vs. previously often 1.2 Ah).

Does it fit in the yellow Hetronic charger?

Yes. The standard chargers from Hetronic (UCH series) are designed so that the battery either fits in completely or (depending on the charging tray) protrudes at the top, but makes secure contact. Since it is NiMH, the battery is charged correctly.
