FAQs about the Hetronic 3.6V 2500mAh battery
Can my charger handle the high capacity of 2500 mAh?
Yes.
Your Hetronic charger charges the battery fully. However, since the "tank" is very large (2.5 Ah), charging takes longer than with the old original battery (e.g. 1.2 Ah). Expect double the charging time, but the battery will last twice as long in operation.
Why doesn’t the battery fit in my Hetronic Mini?
You probably have the 9.6V version.
This is the most common mistake: most Hetronic Mini transmitters use a 9.6V battery (part number 68300520). This is square and thicker. The 3.6V battery (68300900) offered here is flatter. Please check the number on your old battery. If it says 683005... you need 9.6V. If it says 683009... or 6... then this one is correct for you.
What are the benefits of upgrading from NiCd (68300600) to NiMH?
More performance and environmental protection.
The old NiCd batteries had the "memory effect" (capacity loss with partial discharge) and contained toxic cadmium. This NiMH battery is robust, can be recharged at any time, and delivers more stable voltage for the electronics.
