This is the high-end version of the classic HBC supply block. With 2,100 mAh (2.1 Ah) this NiMH battery offers the technically maximum possible capacity for this design. It is the direct upgrade to the standard battery (FuB 10AA with 1500–2000 mAh) and is particularly suitable for users who work in multi-shift operation or whose radio remote controls (e.g. Spectrum series) have a high power consumption due to many additional functions (displays, feedback).

It reliably replaces all variants of the type FuB 10, FuB 78 as well as the original BA21 numbers. The specification "2x6V" refers to the special contact configuration (4 contacts), the operating voltage is 6 volt.

What are the benefits of switching from 1.5 Ah to 2.1 Ah?

Approx. 40% longer runtime. If your old battery was empty after 8 hours, this one will last over 11 hours in theory. This is often the crucial difference to finish a long shift without changing.

What does "2x6V" mean exactly?

The battery internally has two strings or a special contact configuration with 4 poles to support the HBC safety features. Technically, it provides 6 volt to the transmitter. Do not be confused by the designation – as long as your old battery has 4 contacts and bears the BA21... number, this one will fit perfectly.

Does charging take longer?

Yes, slightly. As there is more energy "in the tank" (2100 mAh), the charger takes a little longer to fill it completely (compared with a 1500 mAh battery). The original HBC chargers, however, regulate this automatically and switch off as soon as the battery is full.
