Can I continue to use my original Bosch charger?

Yes, this replacement battery is fully compatible with the original Bosch charger for the Active/Performance Line system. Please note that the charging time is correspondingly longer due to the very high capacity than with a battery with lower capacity.

How far can I get with this 20Ah battery?

The range depends on many factors, such as the selected support level, the terrain, the rider's weight and the tyre pressure. However, compared to the original PowerPack 500 (approx. 13.4Ah), you will achieve a significantly higher range with this 20Ah battery of up to 50% more.

Is this battery also compatible with the Bosch Classic Line?

No, this battery is designed exclusively for the Bosch Active Line, Performance Line and Performance Line CX systems from model year 2014. It is mechanically and electronically not compatible with the older Classic Line (mainly model years up to 2013).

What is the best way to store the battery in winter?

Store the battery in a cool (10-15 °C), dry place and avoid frost. The ideal charge level for longer storage is about 30% to 60%. It is recommended to check the charge level every 2-3 months and recharge the battery briefly if necessary to avoid deep discharge.
