How can I tell whether I need the vertical or horizontal version?

This depends on the construction of your bike frame. With the vertical version, the battery is inserted into the down tube from above or below. With the horizontal version, it is removed or inserted from the side of the down tube. Please compare the installation direction with your current battery.

Can I continue to use my original Bosch charger?

Yes, this replacement battery is fully compatible with the original Bosch charger (2A, 4A or 6A) for the Active/Performance Line system. You can simply continue to use your existing charging station.

Is this battery also compatible with the Bosch Classic Line?

No, this battery is designed exclusively for the Bosch Active Line, Performance Line and Performance Line CX systems from model year 2014 with Intube battery. It is not compatible with the older Classic Line.

What is the best way to store the battery in winter?

Store the battery in a cool (10-15 °C), dry place and avoid frost. The ideal charge level for longer storage is around 30% to 60%. We recommend checking the charge level every 2-3 months and recharging the battery briefly if necessary to avoid deep discharge.
