In addition, a master control unit (PDU) is absolutely necessary. How long does the manufacturer's warranty on the module apply? 10 years. Deye grants a long-term manufacturer's warranty of 10 years on the battery module, provided it is operated within the specified operating conditions and temperature windows. Is the BMS included with the individual module?  Partially. Each module has an integrated sub-BMS for monitoring its own cells. Users report that grid consumption of 0 W can actually be achieved via Modbus register adjustments or external energy management systems such as ioBroker. For standard applications such as full feed-in or net metering, the factory setting is usually entirely sufficient.The manufacturer should be contacted regarding configuration. It is also necessary to discuss this with the grid operator.Are the charging/discharging currents sufficient for large high-voltage batteries?Yes. According to the datasheet, the inverter allows a charging or discharging current of 50 A in each direction, which enables a power output of up to 20 kW at a battery voltage of 400 V. The official Approved Battery List lists systems such as BYD HVS/HVM, Pylontech Force H and Dyness Tower as fully compatible. These include, among others, VDE-AR-N 4105 for Germany, EN 50549 for the EU, CEI 0-21 for Italy, G98 and G99 for Great Britain, OVE R25 for Austria, RD 1699 or RD 14 for Spain as well as NRS 097-2-1 for South Africa. Usually, no additional NA protection is required once the appropriate country profile has been activated.Which high-voltage batteries are compatible and how do I set the BMS correctly?Released storage solutions include, among others, BYD HVS and HVM, Pylontech Force H1 and H2, Dyness Tower as well as the Deye GB-L Series. Each storage unit is associated with a specific setup number, which is selected in the "Battery → Lithium → Setup Number" menu. In practice, around 22 to 24 kWp is recommended.How loud is the inverter in operation?In standby mode, the inverter remains almost silent, as the fans only start running at temperatures above 50 degrees Celsius or under sustained load.
