Efficient energy conversion with high-voltage technology

With a maximum DC input power of 32,500 W and an MPPT efficiency of 99.9%, the SUN-25K achieves outstanding performance. The intelligent MPPT control ensures high yields even in cases of shading or unevenly aligned module fields. The inverter is optimised for high-voltage lithium-ion batteries (160–700 V), which enables particularly high charging and discharging efficiency.

Flexibility and scalability

Whether grid-connected, hybrid, or off-grid: the inverter offers flexible application options. The AC and DC coupling enables the simple retrofitting of existing solar installations. The parallel connection of up to 10 devices, as well as two separate battery inputs, provide scalable solutions for increasing energy demands. With six freely definable time slots for charging and discharging the battery, energy can be used or stored in a targeted way.

Thanks to protection class IP65 and intelligent cooling, operation is ensured even under demanding conditions. FAQs about the Deye SUN-25K-SG01HP3-EU-AM2

Which grid codes are stored in the inverter?

The inverter contains all standard grid codes, which can be set directly in the “Setting → Grid” menu. These include VDE-AR-N 4105 for Germany, EN 50549 for the EU, and CEI 0-21 for Italy, among others. As a rule, no additional NA protection is necessary once the correct country profile has been activated.

Which high-voltage storage solutions are compatible and how do I set the BMS correctly?

The approved storage solutions include BYD HVS and HVM, Pylontech Force H1 and H2, Dyness Tower, and the Deye GB-L Series, among others. Each storage is assigned a specific setup number, which is selected in the menu “Battery → Lithium → Setup Number”. Alternatively, the same number can be set using the DIP switches on the battery. As manufacturers may change this at any time, it is recommended to check with a current compatibility list beforehand.

How much PV power can I connect without the inverter clipping?

According to the data sheet, up to 32,500 W DC input power is permitted, while the AC output power is 25 kW. This gives a DC/AC ratio of 1.3. In practice, a ratio of 1.1 to 1.2 is recommended, which corresponds to about 27.5 to 30 kWp.

How loud is the inverter in operation?

In standby mode, the inverter remains almost silent, as the fans only start when required. In normal operation, the noise level is below 55 decibels, as specified by the manufacturer. The device is therefore suitable for cellars and technical rooms.

Can settings and firmware updates be made via the app?

Yes, all settings can be controlled remotely via the Deye Cloud or the SUN-APP. This includes changes to charging and export parameters, firmware updates for the inverter, BMS and HMI, as well as possible emergency shutdown of the unit. The connection is made via Wi-Fi, LAN, or the factory hotspot network.

The Deye SE-F12 uses standard communication protocols (CAN/RS485) and can often also be operated with compatible third-party brands. However, the correct BMS protocol on the battery must be configured manually (via software or DIP switch). There is no support for this third-party use during setup from the manufacturer or retailer. A functioning system can only be guaranteed with the Deye own brand. Please compare the compatibility list in advance.What happens in the event of a power cut in the house?If you combine the SE-F12 with a hybrid inverter capable of emergency power supply (such as the Deye SG04 series), the system switches to battery operation within milliseconds in the event of a grid failure.
