These include, among others, VDE-AR-N 4105 for Germany, EN 50549 for the EU, CEI 0-21 for Italy, G98 and G99 for Great Britain, OVE R25 for Austria, RD 1699 or RD 14 for Spain as well as NRS 097-2-1 for South Africa. Usually, no additional NA protection is required once the appropriate country profile has been activated.Which high-voltage batteries are compatible and how do I set the BMS correctly?Released storage solutions include, among others, BYD HVS and HVM, Pylontech Force H1 and H2, Dyness Tower as well as the Deye GB-L Series. Each storage unit is associated with a specific setup number, which is selected in the "Battery → Lithium → Setup Number" menu. Alternatively, the same number can be set via the DIP switches on the battery. Other models follow the same procedure and are listed in the compatibility list. As compatibility is constantly changing, it is recommended to check with the manufacturer beforehand.How much PV power can I connect without the inverter clipping?According to the data sheet, up to 26 kW DC input power is allowed, while the AC output power is 20 kW. This results in a good DC/AC ratio. In practice, around 22 to 24 kWp is recommended.How loud is the inverter in operation?In standby mode, the inverter remains almost silent, as the fans only start running at temperatures above 50 degrees Celsius or under sustained load. In normal operation, the noise level is below 45 decibels. At full load, a distinct airflow noise can be heard, but it remains below the maximum sound pressure of 55 decibels, as specified by the manufacturer. The unit is therefore well suited for basements and technical rooms.Can settings and firmware updates be carried out via the app?Via Deye Cloud or SUN-APP, all settings can be operated remotely. This includes changes to charging and export parameters, firmware updates for inverter, BMS and HMI as well as a possible emergency shutdown of the unit. For 48V low-voltage storage systems, you will need the LP3 series from Deye. Operating the system with the wrong battery voltage may cause damage. Please check the compatibility list; this is recommended before purchase.Do I need a separate smart meter for zero feed-in?Generally no.Deye has integrated measurement via the CT clamps in these hybrid models, allowing the inverter to record household consumption at the grid connection point.
