2. Service description
On our website www.beltrona.de/b2c/ we operate an online shop for mobile and stationary power supplies. Our range includes, among other things, custom battery systems, PV systems, device batteries, and charging technology. You will find products such as inverters, battery storage systems, all-in-one systems, balcony power plants, solar modules as well as suitable accessories such as cables and installation materials. The service offered via our shop covers the entire online purchasing process: from browsing the product range, collecting items in the basket, all the way to completing the purchase contract and processing the payment.
3. Explanations on the implementation of the service
The shopping process in our online shop is designed so you can orientate yourself easily and purposefully:
- Navigation and product search: Orientation on our site is via the always visible header. It is the central navigation element and includes both the upper area with search function, customer account, wish list, and basket as well as the menu bar directly below. With this menu bar you can navigate through our main and subcategories. On category pages you have the option to narrow the product selection by various filters (e.g. by manufacturer, performance, capacity or price) or to sort items by criteria such as name or price.
- Product selection and basket: On the respective product page you can select the desired quantity of an item and add it directly to the basket. Via the header you always have quick access to your basket, your wish list, your customer account, and the search function for searching further products.
- Order process and correction options: From the basket you are taken to checkout, where you are guided through the next steps. Before the binding conclusion of the purchase, you receive a final order overview. This contains all relevant information regarding products, costs, and any other chosen conditions. Here you have the opportunity to check all entries and correct any errors.
- Conclusion of contract and completion: In the last step of the checkout you select the desired shipping method (e.g. collection or, if available, delivery) and one of the offered payment methods. By clicking on the final order button, you complete the purchase.
- Returns processing: For processing returns you will find in the lower section of the website (footer) the link "Returns label / RMA slip". This leads you to a digital returns portal of an external service provider. There you can register your return and subsequently receive all necessary documents for the return shipment.
4. Description of how accessibility requirements are fulfilled
We design our online shop to be accessible in order to fulfil legal requirements and enable all customers a smooth shopping experience. Our basis for this process is the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in version 2.1 at conformance level AA.
To ensure this, we fulfil the four central principles of accessibility:
a) Perceptibility
Information and components of the user interface must be perceivable by all users. We ensure this, for example, by:
- the website being designed so that it can be enlarged without information loss, to support users with visual impairments.
- considering a clear layout, legible fonts, and sufficient spacing, facilitating visual capture of content.
- ensuring sufficient colour contrasts and not conveying information solely via colours, to guarantee readability for all users.
b) Operability
All interaction elements and navigation must be operable. We ensure this, for example, by:
- a clear and consistent navigation structure as well as meaningful link texts facilitating orientation on the entire website.
- all interactive elements such as buttons and links being sufficiently large to allow easy and error-free operation, including on touchscreens.
- refraining from content that is known to be seizure-triggering, such as rapidly flashing graphics.
c) Comprehensibility
The information and operation of the user interface must be comprehensible. We ensure this, for example, by:
- using clear and understandable language to make all content easily accessible.
- orientation being facilitated by a logical and consistent structure, like clear division through the header and menu bar.
- pointing out the need for correction in forms in case of input errors, to allow rectification.
d) Robustness
The content must be implemented in such a technically robust way that it is compatible with a variety of technologies, including assistive technologies. We ensure this, for example, by:
- complying with current web standards to ensure high compatibility with common browsers and assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers).
- our identification and authentication features being designed to work robustly and securely across different platforms.
- offering user-friendly login methods and secure, accessibly usable payment processes that reliably function for all users.
