The APX system features integrated module-level optimisation technology. The BMS detects the different module states and controls the energy flow so that the weaker module does not slow down the system.Do I absolutely need this BMS for the MOD-XH series?Yes, if you are using APX batteries. For the APX high-voltage storage series, this specific BMS is the necessary control unit. Older battery series (such as the ARK series) require a different BMS (HVC 60050-A1).Is the system suitable for outdoor use?Yes. Thanks to the IP66 protection class, the BMS and battery modules are protected against powerful water jets and dust. Outdoor installation is therefore possible, ideally in a weather-protected location.
