Balcony Power Plant 800W / 920W solar output with 2x JA solar modules (Full Black Glass, 460W) and a NEP BDM800 inverter

Description

Product information

The Durasun Balcony Power Plant 800 W with 920 W solar output is a powerful complete set for the simple generation of your own solar power. With two solar modules and an 800-watt microinverter, the set is optimally designed for the feed-in power permitted in Germany for balcony power plants.

The high module output of a total of 920 Wp ensures that as much solar energy as possible can be generated even in changing light conditions, cloud cover or non-ideal orientation. The included inverter converts the direct current generated by the modules into standard household alternating current, which can be used directly via the home mains supply.

Highlights at a glance

  • 800 W feed-in power: Ideal for modern balcony power plants and the maximum use of the statutory power limit.
  • 920 W solar output: High module output for strong yields even in less ideal light conditions.
  • Complete set for self-consumption: Generated solar power is used directly in the household and can reduce electricity costs.
  • Microinverter included: Reliably converts the generated direct current into usable alternating current.
  • Easy installation: Suitable for balcony, terrace, garden, garage or flat roof.
  • Weatherproof components: Designed for permanent outdoor use.
  • Efficient solar power use: The higher module output helps to utilise the inverter optimally over longer periods.

Areas of application

The Durasun Balcony Power Plant 800 W with 920 W solar output is ideal for:

  • Balconies: For simple installation on the balcony railing and direct use of the generated solar power.
  • Terraces & gardens: Perfect for freestanding installation with a suitable bracket.
  • Garages & flat roofs: Ideal for space-saving installation on suitable roof surfaces.
  • Households with base load consumption: Particularly useful for consumers such as fridge, router, standby devices or office electronics.

Installation & safety instructions

  • Choose a suitable installation site: For maximum yields, the solar modules should be aligned with as little shading as possible.
  • Stable mounting: Use a suitable bracket for balcony, roof, wall or ground installation.
  • Check the grid connection: The connection should be made via a suitable outdoor socket.
  • No expansion without inspection: The set is optimised for 800 W output power. Expansion with additional modules or inverters should only be carried out after technical inspection.
  • Behaviour in the event of a power cut: The inverter switches off automatically for safety reasons if there is no mains voltage.

FAQs on the Durasun Balcony Power Plant 800 W with 920 W solar output

What does 920 W solar output mean with 800 W output power?

The solar modules together deliver a maximum output of 920 Wp. The inverter feeds a maximum of 800 W into the home mains network. The higher module output ensures that the inverter can more often achieve high output even in cloudy conditions, unfavourable orientation or weaker sunlight.

Can I supply my entire household with the balcony power plant?

A balcony power plant is primarily intended to reduce the base load consumption in the household. It can, for example, support consumers such as fridge, router, lighting, standby devices or office electronics, but it does not replace a large photovoltaic system.

What happens in the event of a power cut?

In the event of a power cut, the inverter switches off automatically. This is an important safety function so that no electricity is fed into the public grid while work is being carried out on it.

Can the set be expanded?

The Durasun Balcony Power Plant is designed for an output power of 800 W. Expansion with additional modules or another inverter is not possible without further ado and should be checked in advance both technically and legally.

Beltrona High-quality aluminium mounting

These Beltrona Universal mounting system is a robust and flexible solution for securely mounting photovoltaic modules on flat surfaces (flat roofs, garage roofs, ground, terraces). Made from corrosion-resistant Aluminium, this design offers maximum durability with a low weight. The special highlight is the Variable tilt angles from 30° to 60°. This allows you to align the solar module perfectly with the sun, thereby significantly increasing the yield of your system – particularly in the case of "balcony power stations" or off-grid systems – The mounting bracket is designed to be universal and fits almost all standard solar module sizes (framed).Highlights at a glanceFlexible bracket (30°-60°): The tilt angle can be adjusted continuously or in steps (depending on the model) between 30 and 60 degrees. A steeper angle (45–60°) is ideal for optimising yield in spring, autumn and winter, when the sun is low in the sky.Universal fit: The structure is attached directly to the frame of the solar module. As the rails are telescopic or can be mounted in various ways, the system is suitable for small 100W modules as well as large 400W+ panels (standard width approx. 1134mm).High-quality material: Made from anodised Aluminium (AL6005-T5) and screws made of Stainless steel (SUS304). This guarantees rust resistance and weather resistance for decades.Versatile installation: Suitable for flat roofs (bitumen, membrane, gravel), concrete surfaces, garden soil or even for vertical wall mounting (facade) to space the module away from the wall.Easy installation: Pre-assembled parts and simple screw connections enable quick installation.Areas of applicationBeltrona ’s mounting system is ideal for:Flat roofs: Garage, carport, bungalow (weighting with ballast stones recommended).Garden / open space: Installation on a lawn or terrace.Balcony power stations: To position modules at the optimum angle on a large terrace or a canopy.Facade: For wall mounting, to tilt the module away from the house wall towards the sun.Installation & Safety InstructionsBallasting (Important!): If you are installing the mounting bracket on a flat roof (e.g. bitumen), you are often not permitted to drill through the roof membrane. In this case, the structure must be weighted down (e.g. with paving slabs or concrete blocks). A single module at a 60° angle presents a large surface area for the wind to catch (sail effect)!Screw connection: The bracket is typically screwed into the mounting holes on the back of the module frame. Check whether your module frame has the appropriate holes or use module clamps.Alignment: Ideally, align the module with South orientation. If a south-facing orientation is not feasible, south-east or south-west orientations also deliver good yields. Features ProductBeltrona Vario aluminium mounting system (30°-60°) Material (profiles)**Aluminium AL6005-T5** (Anodised, silver) Material (connections)**SUS304 stainless steel** (A2/A4 stainless) Tilt angle**30° - 60°** (Adjustable via telescopic leg) Installation locationFlat roof (concrete/bitumen/gravel), open space (ground), wall Module alignmentHorizontal (Landscape) or Vertical (Portrait) - depending on the rail length Max. wind loadup to 60 m/s (depending on ballasting/screw connections) Max. snow loadapprox. 1.4 kN/m² Contents (set)Pre-assembled triangles, slot nuts, Allen screws WarrantyOften 10 years warranty on material durability FAQs on the Beltrona mounting systemIs the system suitable for my 420-watt module?Yes. Current standard modules (approx. 172 x 113 cm) can be installed without any problems. The length of the aluminium arms is designed to safely support these sizes. Why 30° to 60° and not flatter?Flatter angles (e.g. 10–15°) do not self-clean as effectively (rain does not wash away pollen/dust). The 30–60° range offers the best compromise between Self-cleaning and Annual yield. 30–35° is ideal for summer, whilst 60° makes the most of the low winter sun.Can I also screw the system to the wall?Yes, these triangular structures are also ideal for façade mounting. One side is firmly anchored to the wall with dowels, whilst the adjustable side supports the module. Please ensure you use sturdy dowels and screws here due to wind loads.
