- Battery wiring
- Due to the 48 V technology and currents of up to 190 A, large cable cross-sections (e.g. 2x 50 mm² or 70 mm²) and high-quality DC fuses are absolutely essential.
- Ventilation
- The device is equipped with active fan cooling. Install the inverter in a cool, well-ventilated location and observe the specified minimum clearances.
- Phase balancing
- When operating on a 3-phase mains supply (e.g. Germany), a smart meter is required at the grid connection point to mathematically balance the consumption of all phases (balancing).

Can I operate a heat pump with this device?
Yes, no problem. Thanks to the high output power of 8 kW and the Smart Load function, the inverter can be configured to prioritise supplying the heat pump with surplus solar energy.
Is operation without a battery possible?
Yes, the device also starts without storage. The inverter can be used as a pure PV inverter. A 48 V storage unit can be added later at any time via plug-and-play to increase self-consumption.
Does the device support zero feed-in?
Yes, via the supplied sensor. Using the CT clamp or a smart meter, the feed-in to the public grid can be limited to 0 watts (zero export). The manufacturer should be contacted regarding configuration.
