This perfectly coordinated photovoltaic set combines the state-of-the-art, true three-phase hybrid inverter Deye SUN-8K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2 with three units of the advanced low-voltage storage system Deye SE-F5 Pro-C and 22 high-performance JA Solar 460W Full-Black Glass-Glass Modules. This replaces traditional, rigid systems with a highly flexible, intelligent energy management system that operates in the safe and cost-effective 48V/51.2V low-voltage range, despite three-phase power feed-in.
With a substantial PV module output of 10.12 kWp, this set makes optimum use of the capacities of the three-phase switching centre (Smart Energy Hub). It offers private households and commercial users full symmetry in grid feed-in, an impressive storage capacity of 15.36 kWh and maximum independence from the public power grid.

Installation & safety instructions
- String wiring (MPPT): The 22 modules are ideally divided into two strings of 11 modules each. With an open-circuit voltage of approx. 38–42V per module, you achieve a perfect string voltage that lies optimally in the inverter’s most efficient operating range.
- Installation & environment: Thanks to its IP65 protection rating, the inverter is suitable for installation in a protected outdoor area or in the garage. The three battery modules (IP20) must be installed securely side by side or stacked in a dry, frost-free indoor space (e.g. cellar or utility room).
- Installation by qualified personnel: As this is a three-phase system (AC 400V), installation, AC grid connection and the high-current DC wiring of the low-voltage batteries may only be carried out by a certified electrician.

FAQs on the 8 kW three-phase low-voltage PV set
Can the system also supply heavy three-phase loads in emergency power mode?
- Yes, within the scope of the unit’s power. The inverter provides genuine three-phase emergency power (400V) in the event of a grid failure. Appliances such as heat pumps or ovens can continue to operate without problems up to a total output of 8 kW, as long as the battery is sufficiently charged.
Why is a low-voltage storage system used here on a three-phase inverter?
- Safety and considerable cost advantages. Deye is one of the few manufacturers to offer highly efficient, three-phase inverters for low-cost 48V/51.2V low-voltage batteries. You benefit from the lower acquisition costs of the low-voltage modules and simple plug & play expandability, without having to forgo the advantages of a three-phase home grid.
Is the system "black-start capable" and does it recharge the batteries in the event of a grid failure?
- Yes, absolutely. Should the public grid fail for days and the batteries be completely empty, the system switches itself on again fully automatically the next morning through the first solar radiation (black start). It supplies your emergency power consumers and recharges the batteries at the same time.
How does battery management work with three modules?
- Via automatic parallel communication. The three SE-F5 Pro-C modules are connected directly to each other with short data cables. One module automatically assumes the role of the "master" and communicates on behalf of the entire block with the Deye inverter via the CAN/RS485 bus. This ensures perfectly balanced charging and depth of discharge of all units.
