The Deye SUN-12K-SG01HP3-EU-AM2 is a high-performance, three-phase high-voltage hybrid inverter designed as a highly efficient energy management system for demanding photovoltaic installations. With a rated output power of 12 kW offers sufficient capacity for modern households with high electricity consumption, electric cars and heat pumps.

The main feature of the AM2 series is the support of high-voltage battery systems. By operating within a voltage range of up to 700 V, conversion losses are minimised and system efficiency is significantly increased compared to low-voltage systems. Furthermore, the unit provides a fully-fledged, three-phase backup power supply with extremely fast switchover times.

Installation & safety instructions

• Battery compatibility
  • This inverter absolutely requires a high-voltage storage unit. Please refer to the certified compatibility list (e.g. Deye BOS-G or BYD HVS/HVM).
• Fire safety & location
  • Mount the inverter on a non-combustible surface. Ensure a minimum clearance of 50 cm from ceilings and floors for optimal circulation.
• Surge protection
  • The device features integrated DC and AC surge protection devices (Type II). Additional external protection in accordance with local regulations is recommended.

Can the inverter be operated in parallel?

Yes, up to 10 devices. Thanks to parallel connection, both the total output power and the storage capacity can be adapted in a modular fashion to meet growing requirements.

Does the device support zero export?

Yes, precisely adjustable. Using the integrated smart meter, the inverter can be configured so that no energy flows into the public grid (zero export). The manufacturer should be contacted regarding configuration. It is also necessary to discuss this with the network operator.

Is the monitoring module included?

Yes, a Wi-Fi stick as standard. The LSW-3 data logger is typically included in the scope of delivery; it connects the system to the Solarman Cloud and enables remote monitoring via an app.
