    • Ensure that only certified high-voltage storage units are connected. Communication takes place via the BMS port (CAN/RS485).
  • Heat dissipation
    • Install the unit in a cool, well-ventilated location. Although IP65-certified, installing the unit in a location protected from direct sunlight will extend the service life of the components.
  • Protective devices
    • The system features integrated DC disconnect switches and Type II DC surge protection to safeguard the installation against lightning damage and faults.

FAQs on the Deye SUN-10K-SG01HP3

Can I operate this inverter with 48V batteries?

No.

  • This model is a high-voltage hybrid (HP3). For 48V low-voltage storage systems, you will need the LP3 series from Deye. Operating the system with the wrong battery voltage may cause damage. Please check the compatibility list; this is recommended before purchase.

Do I need a separate smart meter for zero feed-in?

Generally no.

  • Deye has integrated measurement via the CT clamps in these hybrid models, allowing the inverter to record household consumption at the grid connection point. The manufacturer should be contacted regarding configuration. It is also necessary to discuss this with the grid operator.

Is the Wi-Fi module included in the scope of delivery?

Yes.

  • A WiFi dongle for integration into the Solarman app or the Deye Cloud portal is included as standard, enabling the system to be monitored worldwide.

Can the inverter control a heat pump?

Yes.

  • Via the programmable Smart-Load output, a signal can be sent to the heat pump (SG-Ready) when there is sufficient solar yield or the battery is full in order to store thermal energy.
