Product information
The Deye SUN-100K-SG02HP3-EU-GM10 is a pioneering, three-phase high-voltage hybrid inverter specially developed for commercial and industrial applications with the highest energy demand. With a rated power of 100 kW, it combines the functions of a high-performance string inverter with the intelligence of a battery management system.
Thanks to the GM10 specification, this model offers outstanding connectivity and supports complex system architectures. It allows businesses not only to feed PV energy into the grid, but also to store large amounts, shave peaks (peak shaving), and safeguard critical infrastructure with genuine emergency power capacities.
Highlights at a glance
- Enormous hybrid capacity: 100 kW AC output power plus the ability to charge and discharge massive high-voltage (HV) battery storage systems.
- Multi-MPPT design: Equipped with 10 MPPT trackers, providing unprecedented flexibility in string design and maximum yields on complex roofscapes.
- Versatile operating modes: Supports on-grid, off-grid as well as peak shaving applications to lower grid fees.
- True emergency power (backup): Provides an uninterruptible power supply for critical loads with extremely short switchover times.
- Diesel generator support: Includes a dedicated connection for generators to secure the power supply even in long network outages and periods of little sunlight.
- Paralleling capability: Multiple units can be operated in parallel to create systems in the megawatt range.
- Advanced monitoring: Fully integrated into the Deye Cloud for detailed energy flow analysis and remote configuration.
Areas of application
The SUN-100K-SG02HP3 is at the heart of modern industrial energy concepts:
- Manufacturing plants & factories
- Maximum self-consumption rates by storing surpluses and protection against costly peak loads during operation.
- Logistics centres with electric fleets
- Buffering solar power for the rapid charging of electric HGVs and vans, without overloading the power grid.
- Large-scale agriculture
- Self-sufficient energy supply for energy-intensive processes such as cooling or automated harvesting systems.
- Data centres & hospitals
- Deployed as part of the emergency power supply to secure critical IT or medical technology.
Installation & Safety Instructions
- Installation & weight
- Due to the massive design and output, the unit must be mounted on a statically tested wall or free-standing rack. Installation requires lifting gear.
- Battery compatibility
- This inverter works exclusively with high-voltage (HV) batteries. Ensure the selected battery modules (e.g. Deye GB-W series) are compatible.
- Cooling & environment
- The active cooling system requires enough space for air circulation. Avoid installation in dusty or unventilated rooms.

FAQs on the Deye 100 kW Hybrid Inverter
Can the inverter be operated without batteries?
- Yes.
- It can initially be used as a string inverter for grid feeding and upgraded to a hybrid storage system at any time by adding a high-voltage battery system.
Does the device support “black start”?
- Yes.
- In the event of a grid failure, the system can be restarted using only PV energy and battery power to ensure supply to critical loads.
How many battery modules can be connected?
- Depending on battery type.
- Thanks to the high-voltage interface, large storage capacities (for example up to 100 kWh or more in parallel connection) are possible to meet demand over long periods.
Is AC coupling to existing systems possible?
- Yes.
- The inverter can work with existing PV systems (AC-coupled) to also charge their surplus into the battery.
