Deye GE-F120-2H2 – The future of smart energy management

Description

Product information

The Deye GE-F120-2H2 represents a new generation of high-performance hybrid energy storage systems for residential, commercial and industrial applications. With a rated output of 50 kW and an impressive storage capacity of 120 kWh, this high-voltage system is the ideal solution for complex energy requirements, maximum operational reliability and complete energy independence.

Highlights at a glance

  • Generous storage capacity: 120 kWh of energy for peak loads & long-term buffering

  • Fast charging/discharging: Optimised for dynamic energy cycles

  • Redundant power supply: Maximum reliability for critical applications

  • Black-start function: Independent restart possible without grid connection

  • Safe battery technology: Long-lasting & thermally stable LiFePO₄ cells

Intelligent storage solution with maximum flexibility

With the GE-F120-2H2, Deye combines highly advanced technology in one complete system: hybrid inverter, lithium iron phosphate batteries (LFP) and an advanced energy management system (EMS) work seamlessly together. This allows energy flows to be optimised, self-consumption to be maximised and peak loads to be efficiently absorbed, all without external support.

Redundancy & black start: Reliable even in extreme cases

The redundant power supply design guarantees continuous operation even in the event of partial failures. The black-start function allows the system to restart completely without an external power source, ideal for off-grid installations or during power outages in critical infrastructures.

LFP technology: Safety & service life

The installed LiFePO₄ batteries stand for:

  • High thermal stability

  • Long service life & over 6000 charge cycles

  • Low risk of thermal runaway

  • Sustainability & environmental friendliness

FAQs about the Deye GE-F120-2H2 energy storage system

How much energy is actually available?

One cabinet provides 120 kWh gross capacity, around 110 kWh of which is usable at 90 % depth of discharge – ideal for commercial and industrial operations with high storage requirements.

Is 50 kW sufficient for continuous loads?

Yes. The integrated power electronics (PCS) provides 50 kW continuous output and can supply up to 125 A for 10 seconds at short notice, making it sufficiently dimensioned even for peak loads.

Can I expand the system later?

Up to ten cabinets can be operated in parallel. This makes capacities of up to 1.2 MWh and a total AC output of 500 kW possible, without changing the system or adding additional infrastructure.

How hot may the system get?

The cell temperature must not exceed 35 °C at full load. The integrated climate module automatically monitors and regulates the temperature in order to avoid loss of performance or ageing.

Which inverter is suitable for the system?

The integrated 50 kW PCS is factory-preconfigured for all three-phase Deye hybrid inverters in the SUN-29.9 kW to 50 kW series, and plug-&-play is possible without additional components. Checking against the compatibility list is strongly recommended, as changes may occur on the manufacturer’s side.

Do I need external NA protection?

No, the power conversion stack meets the requirements of VDE-AR-N 4105 and EN 50549-1/-2 and includes an integrated anti-islanding protection circuit, so additional NA protection is not required.
